Hi there, My name is Ruth.. here’s a little bit about me and my journey.....
I grew up in Donegal Town and have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. When I was 6 years old, I got a dog for Christmas. It was all I wanted and she quickly became my best friend. I was raised in a house full of dogs, cats, birds, guineapigs, hamsters and fish. You name it, we had it. Peter my pet rabbit is the newest addition to the Family and I just adore him!
As a result, I have gained invaluable experience in animal handling over the past 26 years of my life.
I recognise that no two pets are the same, and I love getting to know each of their little quirks and personalities.
Our family dog Muffin (pictured above) was diagnosed with diabetes in 2021, so I am well aware of the additional care some pets may require and am more than happy to accommodate these needs.
Some cats and dogs aren’t suited to a kennel or cattery and can find it to be a very overwhelming experience resulting in them refusing food and exhibiting anxious behaviour.
This is where I want to help. I want you to be stress free in the knowledge that your dog is getting 1:1 personalised care while you’re away! (I’m even happy to water a plant or two while your gone!!)
I am fully Garda vetted and have completed my Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Course with The British College of Canine Studies

Qualifications and experience
In 2020 I completed my undergraduate degree in health science and physiology and went on to pursue a masters degree in clinical measurement Physiology.
Its been a beautiful journey to this point and I’ve gained so much invaluable experience along the way.
I have always been a caring person by nature, that much I knew. By combining my life long experience and love for animals with my passion for caring for others, be safe in the knowledge that I will treat your pets like one of my own!

I know I’m not the only one who dreads the thought of leaving their furry friend in strange, unfamiliar surroundings when you’re away. This is what has driven me the most to begin this journey. I want all pets to experience the love and care they deserve in the comfort of their own home. I’ll fill your shoes while you’re away, making sure your little one is content, calm and cared for until you return.
From cats and dogs, to rabbits and guinea pigs and everything in between, I am happy to provide reliable home care for everyone.

Ideal regular service for dogs who are at home alone all day, for elderly people who would like support in getting their dog out and for anyone not in a position to walk their dog regularly.
Doggie Daycare Service
Cared for in your home
Dog home care for when you’re not there.
The ideal alternative to sending your dog to kennels when you’re away. This service includes two daily visits to cover all your dog’s needs, in the comfort of their own home.
Daily Drop-in
For small furries needing care
This service is available for all pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, cats, dogs etc
Service tailored to meet the animal’s individual needs.

- Collection and drop off
